A great resource for any parent but especially those who are about to have a child or who have a newborn or infant. What prompted me to start this site is I was disappointed with some of the Internet sites for child care because they never seemed specific enough. Another major reason for this websites creation is to help parents who are not getting much sleep. If you are a working parent or JUST SOMEONE WHO NEEDS THEIR SLEEP, then you will want to have your baby sleeping through the night as soon as possible. Most babies are willing, if guided properly, to leave the middle of the night feeding behind by 8 weeks old. My baby was almost 8 weeks when we started trying to eliminate the night feeding and by 9 weeks she was sleeping through the night. I was a better parent with a good nights sleep. My baby was also more content and happy with a good snooze. It is not as difficult as you might think if you start prepping for it from day one.

This site will give many tips for helping you help your baby sleep through the night along with tips for new parents on issue that are common for newborns. I don't doubt that at some point you will read something that you do not agree with and you may want to overlook that. There is a such a mix of information and topics here that can improve your family's quality of life, to tune out over one sentence would be a disadvantage.

This site is geared to those who agree with my philosophy on baby and child development. There are many opinions out there and there is not just one right way of doing things. On this site, you will find an eclectic mix of information devoted to the early weeks and months of dealing with various baby issues. Basically, the advice on this site is what has worked for me and my family and I hope you can gain some insight from the information. Even if you are an experienced parent or have more than one child, you will still be able to use this site as a resource as you venture in to the unknown. As parents, we should solve problems for our families, optimize opportunities by being resourceful, recognize all children have strengths and weaknesses, and finally teach, mentor, and train our kids. For those that do not have time to mingle with new parents or read much, you will find solid advice at this site. You may not agree with all my information or my philosophy, and that is your right.

I hope to share my knowledge which I believe will help parents! Content for this site will be updated each month. Once you review the website, you will have the capability to email me for advice while working through issues with your baby.

This website draws on the knowledge acquired over many years through working with children, talking to parents, and reading everything possible on baby topics. It should not take the place of advice given by your doctor.
